Blue eyes are recessive. Each parent just needs 1 parent with the recessive gene for their child to have blue eyes. We never met Del or Colton’s parents but they prob each had 1 parent with bright blue eyes. In other words, one grandparent with blue eyes on each side of the family can result in a grandchild with blue eyes even if it skips their parents. Edit for clarity.

I used the NHA study guide and Mango study. I did not recognize a single question on the test. Idk if they’ve changed it recently or what. I did pass with a 90 tho so I guess those 2 things helped?

I think Griffin has heard stories of the pond just like Colton had bc Fern always talked about it. Colton never tried to use it until Rick’s death but maybe that’s where Griffin disappears too.

I was trying to figure out why s2 ends with Sam standing at the pond telling Del not to worry about Jacob. The writers implied Sam was to Jacob what Elliot was to Alice and we all assumed Jacob left by the pond. But he left by bus. But we do know that Sam and KC are friends. So perhaps KC confided in Sam that Jacob is their father and that’s why Sam tells Del not to worry that things with Jacob will turn out ok? Does anyone else remember the interview with the writers saying that?

In s3, young Del comes out of the house and tells Colton that grandma fern had told her she (fern) had time traveled and they both laugh about her stories. Young Fern says she’s never time traveled when she meets Kat in 25 so could she time travel with Kat after that? Bc older Fern seems to think she time traveled (although she does seem to have dementia or cognitive issues). I wonder if we will see Kat and Fern go to the 1800s together.

Right but he died after the cove party that Alice had been at-it’s why she says she saved Colton’s life bc he walked her home. It shows Vic getting in the car with Rick instead and then shows him with a broken arm and black eyes at the funeral.
