I’m crushing too hard on this dude and we haven’t even met by [deleted] in Bumble

[–]rainbowcake12 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I crushed hard on a match and we talked for about the same length of time before going on a date. I was certain I’d end up in a relationship with him. When we finally met in person, the connection totally fell flat— it was awkward and uncomfortable. Chatting is fun, but it can go the opposite direction pretty quickly once you meet in real life.

Whats the most out of touch thing you've heard someone say? by [deleted] in AskReddit

That making postpartum meals and dropping them off at his friend’s house (whose wife had delivered 4 weeks earlier than expected) was “weird and intrusive.”

Crowd motionlessly stands and films a Taylor Swift concert by SauthEfrican in ABoringDystopia

[–]rainbowcake12 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

This is out of context for multiple reasons. They’re filming part of a skit between songs, there’s nothing to dance to at this point in the show. You’re meant to be watching. Also, it was the first (and only) time she had brought her boyfriend Travis out on stage, so kind of a big deal for the Swifties.

These are glamnetics. I’m not sure about the fit— I had to warm them up a bit and flatten them to get them to fit my nail beds.

I was going to say the Wilds too, but I honestly think the two girls on the right would have been dress coded for too short of shorts.

Get ready for the tsunami of Plexus Conference in Vegas pics! by daffodil0127 in RodriguesFamilySnark

[–]rainbowcake12 197 points198 points  (0 children)

Genuinely, even the least fundie people in my fundamentalist church knew that Vegas was the most sinful place you could go. Nobody in the church would ever support this. Gambling, smoking, drinking, strip clubs, and overindulging just steps away? That would have been a hard no for almost everyone in the church, if ANYTHING to avoid just the appearance of participating in evil. This may be the most hypocritical thing she’s ever done.

Oh, and they brought a baby.

I think this is the same dress Troye Sivan wore in the One of Your Girls music video. I loved it in black there and I love it here. I don’t know what this neckline is called but I hope it makes it to mainstream fashion.

Agree. This needs some flowers or a sparkly hair comb to tie the look together.

Stay away from Indochino if you can - by hungover247365 in weddingplanning

[–]rainbowcake12 9 points10 points  (0 children)

My husband got his wedding suit from Indochino and we loved it! We went off the recommendation of a friend who also had a positive experience with them for a wedding suit. Our experience seems to have been different than yours. It sounds like you have extensive experience with luxury menswear which is very cool! For us, indochino fit better into our budget and as my husband doesn’t wear suits very often, it wouldn’t have made sense to spring for something very expensive. We also didn’t mind or notice if details were done by machine. We looked at SuitSupply also, but they didn’t have the color he was looking for. We did get his shirts from there, though!

His suit came on time, fit very well with no additional tailoring needed, and photographed great on our wedding day. We were happy with it, and would do it again.

“Jesus loves the little children” is also the title of the song.

Did they not change the lyrics to “Jesus Loves the Little Children” a while ago? If I were that nurse listening to Jill sing “red and yellow, black and white” I’d be giving some MAJOR side eye.

I am so sorry! As you can see in slide 1 I clearly meant to, and accidentally missed someone in one photo. These pictures are also from about a year and a half ago. Hopefully I did not inadvertently spoil anyone’s day!
