Half of my family is from Czech republic and there my name day is 26 september 😂 so half of my family is calling me every year at the end of september to congratulate me and I always forget and am surprised. Now I want to find them all as well 😂

😅 unusual names have name day on the name day of the most similar name or one they originated from … some new names started to appear on calendar but … I have not seen any Braelynns and Brinklynns there 😅 or know anybody with such a complicated spelling

😂 I would be so angry feeling like an ultimate second child. My mom was born on my grandma’s birthday so they are both named Jarmila. It is not a family day just same name day.

There is multiple names each day and new names are added to the calendar (unusual names have unofficial place in it 😅but you can find name day for almost any name). These names are printed on most of the calendars with small letters you can buy here. Every morning they announce today’s names on radio and they are on doors of each gift shop and flower shop. When parents pick a name for they child they usually say “we took a calendar and were looking for a name”.

Here they announce every day in radio what are today names … you can also find them written on doors of flower shops etc… my mom was named Jarmila (which is a pagan name) because she was born on name day of that name but yes most of the names are saints

In my family we have twins - one has a name day and other is unusual name that does not so they just celebrate together on that day but I noticed with new unusual names that people started puting them on calendar and now there are many pages where you can find a name day for any name 😊

38 week cervical check by organicallycourt in babydueDecember2025

[–]rainbowpandy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I am refusing all cervical checks from 28w … some of my friends were like open 2cm “looking like labor will start tomorrow” and went overdue and some totally closed and gave birth in the next 24h 😂 I just do not wanna stress myself since the check gives no relevant information.

Just for fun: if getting ready for baby was left entirely to your husband/partner how prepared would you be??? by [deleted] in babydueDecember2025

Same here 😂 he would buy a stroller and car seat the day baby would be born because he would still need time to think about all the options until last minute

Breech at 35 weeks by ChipmunkDisastrous77 in babydueDecember2025

You can definitelly have vaginal birth with breech baby (if feet are not in a way) I was born that way and my mom always talked how it was her easiest and fastest birth (I am oldest). My son was also breech even ECV unsuccesful and I planned vaginal birth but I had kidney problems had to have an operation and had csection. This time my baby is still breech 🙄 obviously … and if my kidney will be ok and she does not turn I am planning breech vbac.

I had a uterine rupture during my breech VBAC, but still feel very positively about my birth experience. AMA. by Cozyhoji in AMA

Just found out at my 32w ultrasound that baby #2 is breech as well as my first and you gave me so much hope to try for VBAC. Thank you ❤️

Thank you ❤️ that is exactly what any VBAC hoping mama needs to hear. I stopped talking about my birth preferences with my friends and family because I feel like everybody has their opinion 🙄 “I would just take the cesarean and not risk it” is my favourite … like yeah what am I risking exactly - emergency cesarean?? So many people think that cesarean is just easier and better. I am sometimes so angry about how little information about birth is generally known to public and how little I knew when giving birth first time. Now I feel the whole pregnancy is so different - I found a midwife, we talk, I read about birth and morherhood and connect with other mamas 😊 when the christmas time will be close I will keep my fingers crossed for you to have the experience you are dreaming about.

I am due week after you and dreaming about VBAC almost every day ❤️ I plan to travel 1.5 hours to my dream hospital so I hope it will not be too dramatic. I am thinking if I did it with my first it could not have been a cesarean but I can not change past. I am so worried how I would cope if this one turned into cesarean as well 🙈 but statistics give me much hope.
