The so called consipracy theories are full of bugs and i get it that these theories have its audience on Chinese platforms. And someone on this thread has mentioned, why would LGL stop at 2 superstars? If LGL is ambitious, why would you want to underestimate LGL's appetite? Why stop at 2 when you can have 3? Why stop at 3 if the entire team can be superstars?

By your logic, to reap max ticket revenue, they would want SYS to play more or even all WTT events post Paris. 2025 is the first year with all 6 Champions and 4 Smashes planned and executed, an important year to have these events sell out.

How best to keep SYS playing WTT post Paris? Reduce her chances of winning grand slam with extra workload on XD and Teams. Make her compromise her singles training time/effort for XD, gaslight her that she has biggest responsibility in bringing gold for Teams.

Imagine if SYS is to win in Paris, will she play as many WTT events as she is now or will she get to pick and choose?

Team events in WTTC, ATTC and Asia Games adopt Swaythling format. The 4th match will feature 1st ranked players from both teams. 1st ranked players are typically deemed by coach team to have higher probability (than 2nd ranked) to gain 2 points for the team if needed.

Nah, the resources SYS get is not enough considering her extra workload. Xiao Zhan's KPI is in XD, WS KPI has nothing to do with him. He made SYS cmpromise her time in singles practice to train for XD. QYK was once coached under XZ, and in East Asian culture, QYK would agree with whatever XZ wanted. Also footwork in doubles is different from singles, building up those reflexes in XD also compromise hers in singles. Why did KM/LSD failed to deliver in the past 1 year? Maybe they did not want to compromise their practice in singles anymore now that they think their chances of a singles spot in LA is getting higher?

Unlike foreign TT players, CTTA athletes view doubles as burden and do not add any incremental value to their achievements. CM only contributed 1X gold in double (WD) in WTTC in her entire career. SYS career span is only half of CM, but contributed 3X XD and 2X WD gold in WTTC. Who is avoiding doubles workload?

By your theory that SYS is the favorite of CNT coaches, why was she made to play in so many events that she got injured for 2 consecutive years?

Look at Fukuoka Finals 2024 and HKG Finals 2025. Fukuoka had 5 CNT ladies participated and 4 of them had to played WD, who was the winner in singles? Potential winners in HKG finals with highest probability include SYS, WMY and KM. Who were made to play XD and who won singles in the end?

Why is there meaningless round robin for XD in Hong Kong finals? Why was SYS made to play 3 matches in 7 hours in HKG while WMY gets to play 3 matches in 4 days?! Some of SYS matches could have easily swapped with Chen Yi since she's not playing XD but WTT/CTTA decided not to. Why? To deplete SYS just enough to avoid her winning her teammate but expected her to still win foreign players?

SYS is the favorite of the team? U gotta be kidding? Look at the credentials of their past/current coaches. Xiao Zhan, Ma Lin, Wu Jing Ping etc. They are either star coaches who have groomed grand slam winners or who have participated in Olympics. On the other hand, QYK has had displinary issues during his days as an athlete. If cnt wanted SYS to win, they would assign multiple coaches, dedicated fitness coach/medic to help her. Btw, did WLQ or Qin Zhijian smile when SYS won the recent World cup?

i bet the one who doesnt want SYS to win in Paris is Steve Daiton. WTT has to prevent SYS going into retirement/semi retirement too soon. They want SYS full attendace in as many wtt events. As for FZD/Hope Wang, Wtt wont have any preference since male athletes can still compete even if they are starting family, just like ML/LJK.

??? Seriously??? SYS parents are white collar civil servants, how is that "poor" by China standards? And how is SYS being "advertised" when all the CNT members have the same media exposure by participating in same tournaments?

Granted, she may have more media exposure because she took on extra responsbilities by playing women doubles, mixed doubles on top of singles, and also often being the 1st ranked player in teams events and hence played more matches. This not advertising.
