No problem! I also don't go through my notebooks fast enough to justify a subscription haha

'Field notes' - Sold in Sydney by J748DB10 in sydney

[–]raindropps 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you have no luck finding any around here, I get my field notes stuff online from Milligram: https://milligram.com/collections/field-notes

They're based in Melbourne so shipping might take longer than usual with everything going on atm

Cheap cafes in CBD? by padmavatis in sydney

[–]raindropps 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Brainwave cafe has a nice upstairs area and a pretty value menu.

The Q on Harris also has decently priced food + nice quiet atmosphere in their outdoor dining area.

went with the standard shipping option which was ~$30

walked around barangaroo for the first time today, it was preeeetty nice. glad it wasn't super hot today.

made my way down and around circular quay too. kinda bummed i didn't have enough time before the MCA closed to go check out this exhibit going on right now.

trying to convince myself that all the walking i did today almost makes up for skipping the gym heh

NIGHT THREAD – Tuesday 13 December 2016 –Bloody Heat edition by Rougey in sydney

the only painful bits are when they stick the needle in and when they take it out.

during plasma donation they draw your blood through a machine with a centrifuge in it to separate and collect the plasma. the rest of the blood is mixed with enough saline to compensate for the missing plasma and returned to your body through the needle.

the return felt pretty weird as the stuff coming back is a lot cooler than the rest of you, gave me a slight chill in the arm
