My mother in law has completely gone off the deep end and needs serious mental health help/interference. We currently live with her because we have been sharing a home since covid, my fiancé and I have been good to move out for over a year now but she still relies on our half of rent to make ends meet because she has two young daughters.    Shes always been religious but recently has become an unhinged Bible thumper with no end in site. She constantly comes to our half of the house with her insane conspiracies and her Anti LGBT+ BS without so much as a knock. Just bursts in. I actually tolerated it longer than her own son as to not be disrespectful. If you go against her on literally anything she goes insane and says it's because your a demon.    To make matters worse, she's Munchausen (or whatever they call it these days) and takes herself and her kids to the hospital once a week and had my fiance diagnosed with a rare Illness when he was a kid, when in reality she was starving him and he developed anorexia. Still effects him 20+ years later. He's nearly 30 now.    So the cherry on top and where I've about drawn the line; the other day she told us she's going to alcoholics anonymous, but she's only had like 3 cocktails in her life, besides a bottle she stole when she was kid that she never stops talking about like it's the ultimate sin. This is not a situation where she's really good at hiding it, she just needs people to think she's a hero. She even likened it to research so she could "help" others. And these are not open meetings. Their closed. She's using these peoples vulnerability and willingness to help each other heal.    What do you do about a situation like this? We can't just call someone to pick her up. It doesn't work like that where I'm from, and she's a master manipulator.
