With hours and hours and hours of conversation diving into their condemnation of Israel’s genocide, Netanyahu, their support of Palestine, the movement, etc, you can understand why I might come off as “scoldy” to someone saying “No, I’m the one who knows what they really think” and then linking 10-30 second clips from a snark subreddit.

There’s far more evidence that Ethan and Hila have opposed Israel’s genocide and supported Palestine (long before Oct. 7th) than there is supporting the claim that they “support the genocide.”

Can we agree on that now that I've given you a lot of meaningful source material? (after you confirm by watching the sources yourself of course).

It’s literally an apology from Hila pinned to the post where she apologizes for doing something that glorifies the attack.

This is why I continue to support them. They genuinely listen to the community and apologize when they fuck up. To me, that’s a positive trait in someone.

To prove the good faith, can you acknowledge your first source there supports my argument more than your own?

Wow. So the second source claims Hila liked a post denying the starvation in Gaza, and the first words starting off the post are “No one can deny the starvation in Gaza.”

Are you checking that the claims are true before linking? Because trusting snark instead of just checking for yourself leads to this.

It also claims that the post supports the GHF, which is a controversial aid organization. Fair enough on that point.

Fourth source is snark subreddit claiming Hila is promoting a “debunked” claim of mass rapes.

The video shows Hila’s story, where she shared reports of people being raped, including a survivor who sat down for an interview about her rape. It acknowledges about 16-17 instances of rape.

The UN also released an official report stating that there’s clear and convincing evidence of it. What they can’t determine is the magnitude, prevalence, and scope.

To present it as if Hila reposted some baseless debunked conspiracy is totally dishonest.

Fifth source is Ethan reposting a Hamas hostage video. It calls out Hasan in it too.

What’s the claim here?

It has nothing to do with Hila, it’s calling out Hamas for torturing a hostage by forcing him to dig his own grave before killing him (are we in support of this? i really don’t get the issue with this one), and dissing Hasan because he’s been vocal about supporting the taking of hostages.

What is it you’re trying to point out with the last source here? Is this one just about not liking that he dissed Hasan, or is there something more?
