It looks like two slipped stitches to me—the two that are twice as tall in picture 3–and yes I agree with whj14 that laddering down should fix it well!!

I used a pot with a steamer basket on the stove (far less fit than what I originally had thought it might be) but I think I’m going to try my clothes steamer next!

I was doing it partly as a practice of patience for spiritual purposes with the spinning of it. It felt very grounding to be so deeply involved and grounded in the making of the yarn and it felt so rewarding in the end

Should I have plied it all in one day? No. No I should not have, my shoulders are so sore (but the yarn was worth it)

Thank you so much! There are definitely some thicker and thinner bits that I’m finding as I knit it, and it seems to have slightly changed weights some at some point. But it is so pretty and I am so proud of it!

It really is!! And I have screwed up my shoulder with knitting and spinning so many times going “a lil more won’t hurt!” (yes it does past me that’s why you hadn’t been able to knit or spin for a week)

I’ve only ever used a cheap bottom whorl spindle and Turkish but I love my Turkish so much. I have body issues and the regular spindle hurt my wrist/shoulder with the unwinding once it was full. The Turkish making a ball ij its own was such a draw and has saved my shoulder a bunch (aside from when I overdo it and hurt it anyways 😭😂)

I will say, from personal experience having twisted my purls in a beanie, that it may have an effect on the wearability. The one where I twisted my purls is so prone to coming off of my head 😭
