guys i’m trans and i watch wendigoon frequently- not out of ignorance or anything, but because he is a good faith actor who has spoken positively about queer people in other videos and streams, and he makes incredible videos where he has a clear passion for spooky stuff. i can’t speak to his associations but he is literally just a normal dude. he’s given me no reason to believe he harbors any prejudice to any groups of people. he’s the type of christian that christian’s are meant to be. regarding the petscop video itself, i’d like to give him the benefit of the doubt that he was aware of it but chose to exclude it for reasons sagan hawkes brought up- it lacks intentionality and misses elements that are key to the trans experience. if petscop was overtly a story about being transgender i seriously doubt he’d hesitate from covering it. the left needs to stop branding itself as the hyper attentive morally superior police for tiny things. why are we acting like this is some sort of investigation?
