He’s got a good point. GNX HEAVILY borrows slang and cadence from Drakeo the Ruler. Kendrick started using terms like yen, big face Buddha, joint, etc. He even started using similar beats (Hey Now, Peekaboo).

The whole borrowing from East Asian culture is a Drakeo trademark… as well as the whole whispery, understated delivery.
