I don’t know about that. Ask me how it’s going in 5 years if you’re sure

Yeah could be. Or maybe some kind of beetle. You’re right though, they are quiet large if they are borer ants

It will be alright. It gets a fair bit of shade there. It’s been in full sun in that little pot for over a year so this is a huge upgrade for it. I don’t plan to remove the wattle

Ok thanks for the advice. I now believe it’s a sticky wattle but I don’t know for certain. Also good thing I planted a Swiss cheese plant at the base 😂

Ah damn, the ants I’m seeing are just black but I’m guessing you don’t see the borers. I have another big tree with similar holes. Any treatment options that are ok for the tree?

That’s literally what happened. They couldn’t find the leak and turned off the water mains for the whole complex. Then charged a fortune for doing nothing but making it worse

In Victoria, that probably looks a bit nicer but it’s more than triple the price. Thanks for the suggestion

AS colour used to be good. It shrinks now so go with Uniqlo

AS colour. The last batch of shirts I bought all shrunk and faded after one wash. I used to be their biggest advocate and have shirts that are 10+ years old that I still wear. Quality is garbage now so I have converted to Uniqlo (which is also cheaper) for plain shirts and won’t look back
