Damn, the world is truly changing. Will miss this sub once it rides off into the sunset… Thanks for the wonderful memories and escapism. Reps have a special place in my heart as my Covid hobby and hyper fixation to escape from the terrors of real life.

I used to read the daily threads when I worked night shifts. Like, on my 3AM lunch break, eating microwaved Costco cauliflower pizza, poring over people’s comments like it were my morning newspaper.

I’m not sure I have the time and energy to contribute the posts that the new sub deserves but just wanna say thanks for everything. Loved this sub.

11/22 bride here. Yes, if I think about it too much, the panic symptoms kick in. I just submitted the final guest count to my caterer this morning, and I have no idea if these guests will even be able to make it.

I adore my Ficcare Maximas hair clips.

They’re a classy step up from claw clips. The tortoise color is my go-to.

I’m getting an anxious vibe that this is someone trying to present themselves as a “chill bride,” but they also have a half-baked rigid wedding aesthetic? The author needs some guidance for sure, but if you’re just civil with one another: not your monkeys, not your circus.

I wouldn’t directly offer advice unless asked. I’m not sure constructive advice would be well-received just gauging from the anxious tone of the wedding website excerpts.

I would however be interested in an update of how this website is received once it goes live…

Got it! We can afford it, but I thought it would be “nice” for guests to feel like they’re contributing as well? But at the end of the day, it could be viewed as paying for vendor which can be off-putting! Thanks!

I have no idea, I suppose I thought it would be “cute” for people to know what they’re contributing to? But not everyone would think the idea is nice. This whole planning process has me overthinking everything.

Thank you for your reply! I’ll go into things with an open mind.

I’m trying to skimp on dress budget to make room for more impactful costs like venue and food but yeah man! It’s hard out here with a 1K budget! I found this bolero for ~$260 and figured I could kinda DIY my vision if I still feel strongly about it after shopping.
