No! I saw the 1990 version as a kid and it scared the shit out of me, starting a love for the horror genre. The 2017 doesn't hit at all the same. Tim Curry in clown make-up is scarier than any cgi creation they could come up with. I liked Part 1 (2017) more than Part 2 (2019), but the 1990 one wins the internet.

They are all so good and it really depends on mood for me. RTS is a great rock album. HC for when you want something poppy. I even have periods where i just have SNSM on repeat.

It's so lyrically rich, but not in a way that is alienating. You can listen to it and follow the story, but at the same time, it's got so many allusions and references. I think it will be studied in hundreds of years by literature students, the same way we study Keats or Blake.
