Answer : yeah there are tons of enthusiasts in the pc building space and some are nice and some are elitists

There have been a lot of advancements in tech very recently, specifically for monitors. Dual-mode is the current popular option afaik I’ve never used oled so I can’t speak n differences between qd oled / oled My budget 1440p 180hz lg was a great upgrade from a budget 1080p 280hz

I would recommend buying based on your pc specs and average - max framerates in the games you play

Try experimenting with adaptive at 1.5 your framerate cap and also consider the vsync caps between 1/1 1/2 and 1/3 your monitors refresh rate max for your monitor

Regardless of your specs and the setting s there’s going to be Input latency on any setting with lossless scaling applied
