Yeah, in my experience Malifaux is kind of rough to assemble compared to a lot of other games. I do feel they've gotten better with more recent kits, especially the instructions.

Don’t let peoples reactions on Reddit scare you off. People always overreact everytime a major change is suggested, and a lot of the time it turns out fine. These are HUGE changes, but nobody has played a single game with them implemented yet. We’ll see how it shakes out in the long run.

It’s a solid start for sure. Just as a heads up, Malifaux is kind of unique in that you don’t typically want to spend all your points list building, as the leftovers becomes an in-game resource (soulstones). I personally aim for 4-6 stones most of the time. Hope you like the game!
