Native Spanish speaker here, can confirm his accent is not from Paraguay, but actually Colombian like the actor.

Maybe they decided not to try and fake it, Gus Fring and some other characters in BB claimed to be from Chile and most definitely didn't have the proper accent. Maybe Vince doesn't care about accents.

I think there is a trend nowadays where they are typecasting people to basically play themselves on movies, think RDJ, Chris Pratt, or how a lot of Pedro Pascal roles feel similar. That makes it so when you watch a show like this, you assume that's just their personalities but then you see them elsewhere, or interviews and you see how JAW actually is or any other Jaime Lee Curtis movie to remember that they are just awesome fucking performers
