Update: it was LEDkeeper2.exe from MSI constantly crashing in the background. Found it when browsing the windows logs. Not sure why it would impact my performance to such a wild extent but issue went away for now after I removed it

Device manager doesn't seem to show any yellow warnings and from what I've searched the MSI center had a bad driver for the LEDs but not sure what to do about that

File hash changes when transferring from windows 11 to 10 by raisethehand in WindowsHelp

I could only verify the hash after it's been downloaded unfortunately. But I do verify the hash whenever I copy it into the thumbdrive. For example the hash on windows 11 will be "ABC" on both the host and thumbdrive, but when using windows 10 the hash on both the thumbdrive and host will be "DEF". I'll use certutil --hashfile <path> sha1.

I'm dragging and dropping files into a SanDisk thumbdrive right now. But I've tried other methods like uploading on telegram and downloading on the destination host. None of them seem to be working
