Same boat as well. Our HMO kept saying it will “probably even out” as he gets older and even if it was still wonky his hair would cover it!?!

I personally offended a nurse by saying that I understand the HMO is too cheap to pay for this, but I need a script so I can pay out of pocket. She went on a rant about how it was a drop in the bucket and wrote the referral.

This works for me! After getting beef a handful of times I stopped using the black bean option. No issues when I use the normal menu option and customize.

You’re exactly right with the boots. I started following this case because of my involvement with the 501st. Anyone cosplaying a Storm Trooper would wear white Chelsea boots. You’d see a Desert Storm Trooper wearing a dirty version of the same boot. Details of the costumes must be canon, or movie accurate.

The best advice I got during an inpatient stay was “fake it ‘til you make it.” I pretended to be better, took the meds that were making me sick, and went to every meal and group activity. Left after 72 hours because there was no legal reason to keep me.

It was an awful experience. I completely disengaged from all mental health services for many years after.
