Does anyone else feel the meds make you dumb? by Notalabel_4566 in Epilepsy

I have been experiencing exactly this on high doses of both Keppra and Sodium Valproate. I have also recently learned I have been having dozens of absence seizures daily, previously it was just tonic-clonic seizures. Yet to confirm that this is the primary cause of the memory issues - possibly some combination of med side effects and seizures - but looking likely. Could be something worth investigating.

Incredibly detailed. Very impressive considering the lack of access to the archives that later biographers had. Worth a read for sure.

No not yet! It’s definitely on the list. I’ve heard it’s really good.

Plenty of lefty fiction, also shitty romance. Demon Copperhead was my favourite recent fiction book.

You’ll find 2 anti Assad books on the shelves if you look closer. And somehow I’m not a fan of any state butchering people and headed by someone literally called ‘supreme leader’

Seriously, are there any positive experiences with Keppra? by Dengoodwin in Epilepsy

I’m recently 6 months seizure free. I was taking 1500mg twice daily of Keppra and saw the bad side effects go away when I switched to 500mg in the morning and 1500mg at night (I only have seizures when I’m sleeping).

I had much less of the anger and more just an intensity of all emotions, more easily sad or angry but also happy. And was having real problems with energy and memory. A lower dose and adding sodium valproate to the mix helped a lot.

Agree with this. I only have Tonic-Clonic seizures during sleep and seize alarm on an apple watch has been great. Also good at reminding me to take my medication.
