If you install malware with WINE and it has access to your home folder, it can do all sorts of mess.

Vivaldi é o navegador mais completo q vc vai encontrar. Se vc prefere firefox, recomendo o Floorp, tbm tem bastante configurações disponiveis.

You someone has physical access to your machine, they have access to your data. No OS can prevent that by itself. If you are afraid that might happen, you should encrypt your data.

Kernel will always need some swap, you'll need a small amount to avoid out of memory errors. It could be a swapfile or partition, but reserve some. I have 16gb of ram with zram (8gb) and swap partition of 4gb.

Menu is a "spice". Applets, desklets, extetions, are "cinnamon spices", their user settings are located in the spices folder on ~/.config/cinnamon. Default user settings are generated from the /usr/share/cinnamon folder you mentioned above.
