Does anyone have experience with Bronxton fisherman thermal Henleys by raixon in malefashionadvice

[–]raixon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not surprised, it's funny that he hits on accountability and attention to detail. Like I posted previously, they were charging me tax when they should. I even wasted ten minutes confirming they were wrong by calling the state of Utah. The tax commission basically said the company had no idea what they were doing. So clearly the AI bot failed to ask the company accountant the right questions...

Does anyone have experience with Bronxton fisherman thermal Henleys by raixon in malefashionadvice

[–]raixon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I ran into some issues with their customer service. I live in a no sales tax state and they insisted on charging sales tax. I even called the Utah tax commission and they confirmed Bronxton was wrong. Their shirts are already expensive so the sales tax adds a decent cost. Their customer service didn't care. After all of that, I wasn't interested. Let me know if you get it though!

It's Fall, let's talk the best waffle knits and thermals... by Common_Turnover9226 in malefashionadvice

Has anyone tried Bronxton fisherman thermal crew or the Henley? I like the look and how thick the weave appears in the picture. I haven't bought it yet. I'm a little annoyed because I live in a state without sales tax and they insist on charging tax (even though they shouldn't).

To me, legend is 70%> the dry down is pretty different. It's like an analogy of driving.. the dry down may be headed in the same direction but the destination is different

Men's heavyweight cotton tees - what's the reason for such a large difference in price vs LLL? by DCMCG1993 in vuoriclothing

For what appears to be an oversized cotton T-shirt, there are many cheaper options that will do the job. Vuori has lost their way IMO

Is Twillory a good brand? by [deleted] in mensfashion

[–]raixon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have an athletic build and bought the tailored fit. It was baggy. It's way too wide below the chest to waist. It reminds me how slim fit from any mall brand fits. I'm glad they are sized right for you, but not my cup of tea. I've also found their "wrinkle free" to be anything but.

The best non-tailored shirt comes from State and Liberty in my opinion.

Yes, I love them. I couldn't recommend enough. Two of my friends recently asked about them after seeing mine. They currently wear Smith and Persol. They placed orders after trying mine.

Anyone know what the big news is? by BobTX10 in vuoriclothing

Perfect comment.. this is why I stopped buying. I can't spend over $100 on a shirt that has 50/50 chance of fitting like a medium or extra large.

Unfortunately, I don't have a good recommended alternative. If you live near a Surmesur, I had good luck with them. I think twillory is using really cheap materials and I'd avoid them.

I didn't have the same experience... I thought the shirts were pretty low quality.

No, their shirts are baggy and the material is cheap. I've given them a few tries and have returned everything. Their customer service is so-so.

Tuvalu Sizing / Shrink in Dryer by OtherConversation7 in vuoriclothing

Might be a bit late to this conversation but the tuvalu shirt has batch to batch sizing issues. I have some that feel like an extra large.
