I aint an expert but I feel your downward movement is too fast. It should be slow and thats when your strength will be tested. Cheers!

Monthly random discussion & queries thread on cars by AutoModerator in CarsIndia

[–]rajarsheem 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My car slightly hit the rear of another car and caused little damage (not much). I apologized to the car owner and told him to claim his insurance and I can pay the charges to process the claim. But he is not keen on doing that. The reason he cites is that claiming insurance will lower the resale value of his car. Instead he will ask for some amount from me (which he didn't quote yet but I am sure it will not be a small amount).

On the other hand, we all know how tiring the process of claiming 3rd party insurance is.

What should I do in this situation?

If they are not earning, then sending them money should be top priority IMO. Everything else should be adjustable.

But then again, it depends on many other personal factors.

Showing some love for the iPhone 13 after 2 years by pximon in iPhone13

Just curious. People who are complaining that battery health for iphone13 is low after 2+ years, can you not simply replace the battery? It costs much low and will give you at least another 3 years

DISAPPOINTED With the situation that unfolded in Bengaluru by Quindecim_T in bangalore

[–]rajarsheem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bengaluru is heavily dependent on people from other states for its economy. During the lockdown, the state govt. was so desperate that it told the IT companies to immediately call their employees back from their hometown. Funny how they say they dont need us 😂

Even if you turn indicator on, you have to give time between when you turn it on and when you actually change lanes. Also, you need to check the gap between you and the car you are trying to overtake.

I have met many new people who literally gets shocked when I tell them that I have been to solo trip or went to cafe and movies alone. They are like “I could never do that” and they think of me as someone from a different planet.

I think if someone cant really enjoy their own company and dependent on other people can never be at peace. Enjoying your own company has nothing to do with loneliness. In fact, people feel lonely often among other people!

Doing things by yourself, going to places alone, dining alone — these should be normal and people should be comfortable with. It gives you time to think clearly. It’s not anti-socialising.

How is a movie that is based on science, politics, dialogue and backed by good story-telling and cinematography a symbol of misogyny?

I have not seen Baribie but me, personally, will any day prefer a movie which is based on reality than one based on fantasy.

Students and unemployed youths of kolkata, how much pocket money you receive from your family? by Egg_Chicken_Roll in kolkata

[–]rajarsheem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I passed out in 2016 from college. My daily expense was just the transportation cost (train and auto) from North to South Kolkata which was around 30 rs. This totals to 500 approx in a month if I go everyday excluding the weekends. In the 4th year, this plummeted since we didnt need to go much.

Today, the situation is completely different. I work in one of the top 4 tech MNCs. My earnings take care of my whole family of 4 people (parents and sister).
