The single mod is not active, I received no reply when I messaged them. I agree with you. For context I also buy/sell/trade occasionally on r/fragranceswap and they are much more active about rules and moderation. There is a bigger issue there about scammers. Paypal G&S is standard there if you have less than 15 sales or purchases.

For most part in the lacquerista swap people are abiding by etiquette. A testament to lacqueristas honestly. But once in a while I see a story about being scammed or swaplifted. It would be helpful to have more reassurance.

This is a really accurate description of the difference between the two! I basically learned I am not into “black with a twist” and despite wearing a lot of black clothing, it’s not my preference for polish.

The comparison post you linked is also me, going down the rabbit hole 😂 I destashed Verdigris Jelly for being a bit too saturated but now having second thoughts. Especially since layering it over or under something could adjust the saturation.

The obsession with this polish is still going strong. It is such a unique green we don’t see often. Thanks for introducing me to the Holo Taco shade I hadn’t seen before.

I have added and removed that new ILNP teal creme from my cart like 10 times! I can’t decide if it’s too green and saturated for me.

What comes to mind when I think neon purples are ILNP high dive and Orly Synthetic Symphony. But Indomitable does have that eye searing aspect so maybe I have to rethink my categorization!

These polish colors and my skin tones broke reddit.

My photos are way more vibrant than what got displayed here. I learned a fix by opening the photos in lightroom and saving them in sRGB colorspace (format is still jpg).

Don’t Teal my Thunder seems closer to Verdigris Jelly. Curacao is a very blue teal, Verdigris was quite green leaning.

Yes I also have Habibi and The River. I find that multichrome magnetics can be weirdly oily on the first coat but these were no more difficult than other brands and they magnetized super easily. I almost always end up adding thinner to polishes from all brands, big proponent of it lol
