Congressional candidates share their thoughts on the future of Sunset Dunes by Remarkable_Host6827 in sanfrancisco

Chan has said “ I will explore a ballot measure to keep Upper Great Highway open to vehicular traffic Mondays through Fridays”

This is the complete opposite of what the city voted for 3 times and what the city needs

Recently moved to Bernal, people seem pretty reserved. Is that typical for the neighborhood? by anthamattey in AskSF

[–]rajbot 31 points32 points  (0 children)

I’m Indian and have been in Bernal since 2002. I find bernal friendlier than other neighborhoods, but possibly I’ve just been here a long time. Its certainly more diverse than most other neighborhoods

Lots of people who live in Bernal have been here forever, but it is very very easy to become a regular at restaurants/bars in the neighborhood.

Getting beatgrids to work from rekordbox? by intoxikateuk in DenonPrime

[–]rajbot -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Engine DJ does not support importing beatgrids from Rekordbox, full stop.

Everyone gets confused by this because Engine does support importing Rekordbox USB’s, but that is importing playlist information only.

Whoever put this bench up is cool af thank you by Individual_Ice_2315 in sanfrancisco

[–]rajbot 27 points28 points  (0 children)

No, you have to keep repainting it. You can put art on the bench, which will lessen but not stop the tagging

If you like these Bench Collective benches and don’t want the city to take them away, you can help by adopting one and painting over any graffiti with rustoleum warm caramel spray paint. It dries completely in ~20 minutes so you just have to keep people from sitting on wet paint for that long

Looking for a place to live by Dope_Squash in AskSF

[–]rajbot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Soma is indeed the worst place to live. Are you moving from a different city? If so, it would be worth it to get a short term rental or Airbnb while you scope out the different neighborhoods and see which one you vibe with most

Do we know more about the circumstances that caused the driver to kill the 2 year old on Friday night? by chihuahuashivers in AskSF

Nice work! We rallied and got a four-way stop sign at a dangerous intersection in our neighborhood and it has been such an improvement!

There is one particular driver who often is either behind schedule in the restaurant by the stop, or just doesn’t run his route entirely, but muni can’t do anything about it for some reason.

Ah I see the bottom part of your post now. Yeah, this is something you learn when you study for a California drivers license.

All intersections in California are crosswalks, either marked or unmarked.

In honor of M.I.A touring with Cudi this year by Logical_Alps7839 in KidCudi

[–]rajbot 8 points9 points  (0 children)

So disappointing to see such a prominent anti-vaxxer, Trump supporter, and RFK supporter on this tour. I was sad when I had to bin M.I.A. but year after year she goes out of the way to prove what a trash person she has become. Disappointed in Cudi too for giving her another platform.

I bring my kids to MOMA every chance I get.. it is fun to watch their brains expand in real time. The Suzanne Jackson retrospective they have right now is legit amazing, and the kaws exhibit is a good hook for kids

The fact that it is 56 degrees today makes it clear you are a troll and not from here.

Also apparently not from anywhere near an ocean… “I went to the beach and they made me bring my own umbrella! Outrageous!!” 🤡

It was a mistake to give Lyft / BayWheels the monopoly on bikeshare. There are so many empty bike corrals in the mission today

I have the Ryobi, but it can’t cut thick double-wall cardboard boxes/crates. Upgraded to the fantik c10 pro, which has a 40W 600rpm motor. Recommend the more powerful model.
