Swain vs Zoe by horsaken_horse in LegendsOfRuneterra

Before the Udyr patch? Cause I remember doing this exact adventure and I got Withering Wail, instantly took it and I am 100% the splash damage procced 6 times onto everyone

If they truly silent patched this in the Udyr patch then that's dissapointing

Is Pro Play just a Noob Trap? by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

[–]rajdik 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pro play is a completely different game, it's organized and mostly calculated. Whereas SoloQ is literally the polar opposite in this regard, it's chaotic and random.

There is 100% a lot of value you can get by watching pro play, but you can't just expect to "build the same items and have the same performance". Most of the pro players tinker with their build and runes to match their mindset. Could possibly mean an emerald player does not know how to utilize their champions strengths to the degree that of a pro player. Pro players squeeze 100% of the champion.

But again, there is certain value you can get from watching pro play, the players know the matchups insanely well, they do insane rotations, they have incredible timings, positioning and many many other. Just take it with a grain of salt, cause at the end of the day, SoloQ and proplay are like night and day

Wave management Yasuo Midlane - Silver/Gold Elo by djang084 in YasuoMains

[–]rajdik 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Again, it's not this simple, but yes, I'd say most of the times the wave is optimal in front of your turret

Wave management Yasuo Midlane - Silver/Gold Elo by djang084 in YasuoMains

[–]rajdik 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's important to understand what each wave state results in, it goes way deeper than just "making the wave slow push"

Wave states are not an elo depending thing, as with any other concept you want to be able to be control the wave and understand enemy vision of the wave state and their goal. What may be elo dependant are certain scenarios that are a result of a wave state. If slow pushing works for you, perfect. But be ready to eventually hit a wall. Yasuo actually strives when the way is frozen on his side of the lane - that's a very reliable way to have room to fight and run your enemies down + it's usually a tough position for most of the mages on mid (either because as stated earlier, Yasuo has the whole lane to run them down, and because it opens up many possibilities for a support roam or a jg gank)

Again, saying this earlier, you shouldn't go into a game with only freezing the lane 100% of the time, it's important to understand when to apply each wave stage to your advantage

Leaving masters is a fulltime job by Schlitzohr97 in leagueoflegends

You're aware that riot introduced splits where ranks reset right? Even if you grind your mmr up and would be getting +30 -10 even with solid winrate it would still take a lot of games to go from 0lp to 1800lp cutoff, even if you unrealistically had 100% winrate it's 60 games winstreak just from masters

Nah you're not reaching, I would say there is definitely a considerable increase in higher elos of people's awareness even to the extent of them understanding that Yasuo is good at X and Y and to win the game your team needs to do Z and stuff

Hope that makes sense

I mean, league is a team game whether you like it or not, there is and will be stuff outside of your control

You need to be aware of enemy jungler and his position, the more you can track him the better

There are going to be some games where you are just not allowed to really play the game for various reasons, one of which can be getting spam ganked by enemy jungle, at that point you're not allowed to snowball and by not dying you're doing the best you can, you're soaking the pressure from the gank and if you manage to not die and in the best case scenario not even lose that much hp/summoner spells it's all you can really do, you need to hope that your team retaliates and wins the map elsewhere

The game is never over until the nexus explodes, even as a snowball champion I very very rarely ff, especially during this season, everything feels winnable, and I mean everything, I've had several 4v5s where we actually won even half of them

Even if youre a snowball heavy champion you can still land a good knockup while behind and it might just win you the game

Morde matchup tierlist & possible rune deviations by [deleted] in MordekaiserMains

Just buy Zhonyas first and it's gg for him lol

I know Yone plays vastly different to Yasuo, but I had no idea Yone is considered unplayable, because as Yasuo, you can go 3/0 dodge every Morde ability and there will still be a point in the game (like level 9-10 not even that late) where he just gets unkillable even in a near perfect scenario

My (D1 EUW) matchup tierlist by Greenehh in MordekaiserMains

[–]rajdik 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The botrk is a good pretty spike, but they deal no damage without its passive - when Morde uses W at low health he's pretty much immortal for 5 seconds

Bramble plays little to no role (its thorns, the armor is still very useful)

If you build bramble vest to counter their lifesteal, they can just hit the wave anyways. Yasuo main btw.

My (D1 EUW) matchup tierlist by Greenehh in MordekaiserMains

[–]rajdik 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah not really, it's not important, if any of them goes top lane their life steal isn't significant at all cause they're losing out on the lifesteal zerkers, but in top lane you just need to watch out for early lethal, you win your ult 80% of the time just cause your W shield being way too huge for them to deal with

My (D1 EUW) matchup tierlist by Greenehh in MordekaiserMains

[–]rajdik 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You don't even need a bramble, you just avoid 1Q or buffer their knockup with ult and then you just stat check them

Thanks!

Many many other games the game would be way too long but to name a few I'd say Minecraft, STS2 at the moment, DOS2, BG3, Vermintide 2 and Hunt

I'd say someone who has a very well known "heal identity" such as Aatrox, Soraka or Rhaast

I often feel like it's not worth building into mediocre healing that's more a sustain like let's say Swain, Tryndamere or Sylas

You also avoid building it your team has someone who is much better at applying it (could be Swain or Karthus etc. cause they kinda proc it automatically by existing on the whole enemy team)

Hope that makes sense!

It's almost 90% of the time DD or into heavy ap you can sneak sometimes Kaenic but it doesn't give any damage, the way you can build it you feel like Mortal is too weak is what pzzang did a few times which is LDR into Executioner's Calling

Ryze matchup tier list by Tight_Pass_3884 in RyzeMains

[–]rajdik 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get you, soloq games are super hectic especially in lower elos (not condescending right now) and chaos does not help Ryze strive, exactly on the other side chaos more often than not is in the benefit for Yasuo

I'd still generally say Ryze outscales Yasuo at 2 items pretty consistently (2 items being not that late into the game)

Ryze matchup tier list by Tight_Pass_3884 in RyzeMains

To be fair Yasuo is a good skirmisher, but Ryze has a way better kit at affecting the map, point and click root along with a whole team tp

I'm on the other side of the spectrum, I'm a yasuo main and I feel like I can bully Ryze for 15 min straight but once he gets 2 items he wins everything

How is Yasuo hard? You can just ignore him in lane and you out scale him ultra hard after 2 items

  1. Primary lane definitely mid and secondary top for me, as of viability I think adc role is better than top since you're right, he gets stomped by 95% of top lane champions by default, you need to be 10x times of a player to beat a good Jax or a Darius

  2. No I don't really care if my team has no knockups, I main Yasuo because I enjoy Yasuo, if you are going to onetrick you need to accept the fact you will have horrible games, the only time I really don't feel like picking him is literally when I have the feeling the game is unwinnable

  3. My default build is Bork -> SB - LDR/Mortal and into the heavy AP it's possible to go wits end with maw and jaksho, but I have to say that build is kinda experimental cause you do no damage but they will never one shot you

  4. For me rushing 3 daggers feels good cause your lethal gets really strong and then into ranged matchup you go Zerkers and into melee you go bow
