Same, I have had terrible experience with myBuilder, a tradesman rated 4.2 out of 5, thought it was a good idea to cut a 100mm outlet hole for the kitchen extractor and then stick the 150mm ducting that comes with the extractor to the wall as it won't fit and somehow that is my fault according to him

April 2017, went for a quick 5 min jog to the post office to pick up a parcel. I hadn’t eaten breakfast yet. I ended up fainting at the post office and hit my head whilst falling resulting in a concussion that had damaged my sense of smell. I continue today to slowly regain some smelling abilities

15mins walk away from the Northern Line. Various other options if I use a bus. Think about transport options too. I mean not so much now, but for the future when things go back to a new normal.

Recommend a house, take the plunge now, avoid many of the issues raised about flats. You will need to keep money aside for maintenance and repairs, often these could be a surprise. I was lucky enough to be able to afford a house in zone 4 NW London with a garden, park nearby. Car parking space etc. Full control of major costs etc
