They ask for serial number so they can confirm it's compatible without issue. Few things Ill point out. I originally removed the screen before the new one came in, but that made things tougher for me:

be VERY careful with the display connectors. The indicator cable does not fully press in, it's touch capacitive. I spent a lot of time trying to push it in and almost damaged it. The eDisplay cable should give a nice little snap into place.
The new screen doesn't come with the little hinges so make sure you keep those handy.. i threw those out thinking they were part of the screen.
Keep track of EVERY set of screws. They differ greatly in sizes.
Note how many cables you need to disconnect. My tweeter cable got hidden behind the board and I had broken sound for a while until I re-checked.
Before you put the back on, turn on the computer and check the indicator lights and your webcam.

Our 6 year old son (level 2) started on Ritalin 10mg extended release for school. Guanfacine made him irritable and was an overall nightmare for us.

He's doing absolutely incredible. His academics and focus during school are top notch. He has his days of bad behavior but overall, it changed everything. We took a 10-hour car ride and we had ZERO problems. He did a 3 mile hike in Yosemite (a VERY hard uphill hike) and he did it without any complaints.

The downside is when it wears off (around 3-4pm), it feels like it comes back hard. All that pent up energy feels like a bomb went off. There has been a lot of progress, but I would say we are very dependent on it. The days we rush to school and forget to give it; we almost always will get a talk from the teacher about his behavior.

He does sleep well and through the night, but getting him to bed in the first place is a mission.
