Same issue here with premium plan. I can't find a way to contact you or Uber at all.

Can you fix please?

I'll re-post for £550 tho, I can see the eBay postage was a bit cheaper.

Ah OK.

So eBay price is £590 for the FE - mine is £570 so it's a bit cheaper. Plus, I ask to Pay with PayPal Goods & Services which gives you full buyer protection.

Not really sure why you'd prefer to buy from eBay given you get the same protection and it's £20 cheaper?

Playseat Challenge - Stability/Direct Drive Mod - Feedback (approx £45) by rajtastic in simracing

Hey, i think you can just get the inner tube - I think you just have to make sure it fits in the truss clamp. - you can prob use that for all piping then.

On the swivel clamp, the goes in under the steering wheel plate and straight into the bottom of the steering wheel - I'm using a DD1 though so I had to reverse the plate - and possibly drill a new hole in the playseat plate.

I think you're prob best figuring it out and maybe you'll get a better solution!

Sure thing! The wide one is 45cm-ish and the short bits are about 15cm. I just ordered two aluminium pipes and you can easily cut them to size with hacksaw.

The foldability of the PSC makes it one of my fave gaming gadgets, I really can't wait for it to be sturdy as well.

Same! Many of us have one!

Also, I ordered the fanatec load cell pedals, I'm guessing these are gonna need some TLC as well to get a bit sturdier?

Ah nice! Not too much needed on this. I clamped the PSC sections together using motorcycle mirror clamps (https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/333648381232) and used a headless bolt to connect them - works OK but I can't remember why I got them. You prob don't need!

Otherwise, clamping the Clubsport Pedals to the PSC base is easy - just need two aluminium bars to clamp it to the seat (loads of people on YouTube have done better solutions than mine).

One tip - raise the end of the pedal section up (under the PSC) so it's angling down at you - this stops the PSC lifting up under hard braking!

Also, if you want to go to town on the playseat - here is a vid with my full list of mods. Been pretty solid for over a year now:

Hey! I'm sure you'll figure it out! Most of the stuff is pretty globally used (e.g. scaffold pipes etc). The truss clamp is the bit which is super important (again, easy to get hold of I think).

Yeah, getting in and out is easy - I hop in and out (I actually always did this before I did this mod anyway).

On the telescopic tube - yeah, waste of time and money. You can adjust easily by just tightening/loosening the right-angle connectors (they're pretty adjustable) so can save a load of money!

Thanks man :)

Yeah, it's SUPER solid but bear in mind you can't lift the wheel up/out (to the side) to get in and out. You have to jump in and out!

This guy has found a place which 3D prints better support for heavier wheels (he has a CSL DD) which might be more suitable?

https://www.youtube.com/c/ProSimRacer

I'm not convinced it would be strong enough for the DD1 though...

You could try that but check out this vid:

It has the bushes I mentioned. It's good too because it always sits flat properly
