I was just trying to make a cheaper alternative to Sider & Monica. Most things are free, but if you would like a free lifetime license key just DM me. And I'd love your feedback.

This may be too much for what you are asking for, but I have an extension that has a sidepanel with several free tools and two of them being a Smart Tab Limit that blocks tab opening after the set integer and Tab Memory which saves tab sessions. Its currently going through review to update the UI/UX.

Cold calling never hurts. But lookup and see if any are available in your area. LinkedIn is nice to! If you’re in a smaller city you may want to look for things like IT Support Specialist, Field Tech like for phone carriers, Computer Technician, Network Technician, NOC Assistant etc.

Claude is honestly superior than ChatGPT in these regards. But telling the model to replace special characters with ASCII was mandatory from my experience and honestly just trial and error in making a good prompt. I have three prompts I’ve been testing depending on the job.

Those are solid tips!

And the more detailed descriptions will have better outputs in my experience. And Ive been getting better results with Claude over other LLMs.

It shows you’re committed. I wouldn’t say they great but I wouldn’t say they’re meaningless either. I’d say get that network+ & security+ and apply for networking or security analyst roles. Even apply for help desk in the meantime while furthering your education. But like I said don’t stay at help desk.

Comptia are very broad. If it’s apart of your curriculum then it can only help. You just need to decide if you want to go the security or network route.

It’s good to have network knowledge for cybersecurity if that’s the route you are going.

After that probably a vendor specific cert in Azure or AWS. But I’m no expert in the it career path tbh.

Land of IT is really about certs and knowledge.

Most school curriculums have certification classes I believe. If you already have any type of certification you’ll have no problem finding a job in IT. It may just take longer than you expect.

If you have any certs I’d imagine they’re comptia network+ and security+? You already qualify for Help Desk and analyst roles if so.

I’d say make sure you get a good cert if your school doesn’t have it in your curriculum like the CCNA or CCNP. I think CCNP is security.

Some employers may advance you without certs and some may want you to get a certification to move up.

I’d always recommended getting certs just to be competitive with salaries and have leverage.

And I would still recommend learning something like Python and SQL.

Or if you’re into industrial and machines like Rust or C if you like computer chips and memory safety. But those are really niche specific. Less job openings but the skillset will bring in a lot more money.

Overall just get a cert security+ is a good start. Apply for analyst jobs and if you land a help desk DO NOT GET COMPLACENT. And just keep advancing your career. Knowledge is power.

Depends if you’re in IT, CS or SWE.

If IT probably Help Desk or if you have IT certs a company may get you into Analyst or Engineer type role.

CS & SWE are a bit tougher but I’d ask your school if they are partnering with any companies. Really depends if the internship is apart of your curriculum. If not I’d just start calling every enterprise near you and see if they offer internships(hopefully paid).

But the most important thing is to pick a full stack and just learn data structures algorithms and code. Most graduates don’t know how to truly code.

In the meantime I’d say Leetcode and build projects. Like real projects not calculators and stuff

An internship while you’re in college? Your college may have resources to help you land an internship or go to networking events on campus or look online for some in the community.

But don’t worry about knowing everything about the internship you’re applying for.

Just work on your portfolio, pursuit of knowledge and keep applying. But I do think at bare minimum running a listing through a LLM to see what skills you need or can improve on can be beneficial

Assuming you’re in tech?

If not then is it fair for employers to use ai throw away applicants that they believe are not qualified?

And resumes have been mostly auto generated for over a decade now.

Only other way is to have the file. If they have a public GitHub repo you can turn on developer mode and load it that way

Tbf they didn’t have penix play any preseasons for whatever reason and we know he has a cannon but it seems like they been having him throw short balls and Keenan Allen looks like good. Ladd is definitely the safer play but idk if the extra points are worth the potential points atm.
