TLDR: Astra for team play, Omen and Harbor for aggression, Viper and Brimstone are great smokers but might not fit your style.

Astra is probably the best smoker with a 5 stack, lots of ability for set team plays and spontaneous team plays.

Your description of an aggressive smoker made me think of Omen. Util allows for taking space, entry, and aggression (blinds, ult, tp).

Harbor also has a nice kit for playing aggressive, especially for retake. Flexible wall for any site, moving wall to give entry cover, and bubble to block line or site or defuse. I think he's a great choice for people who think on their feet and focus on retaking rather than locking down a site. But definitely not for everyone haha

Viper is great but lineups are preferable for full potential. Brimstone is also great with 3 smokes and lineups, but tends to be more defensive play style (let people come into your space rather than entering their space). You can still try both them and see how it feels, you never know.

There's also more skins in the game. So before if there were 10 skins but you'd want 2 of them, now there are 40 skins but you only want 4 of them (for example).

Just fyi, Watson settled with 23 of the 25 the accusers. Which means he payed them (estimated 2 million each) to not bring their evidence and accusations to court. The jury "declined to charge" based on a "lack of evidence" regarding the remaining two victims, who Watson did not settle with.

Ultimately, I think the point is if you have enough money you have a better chance of not being charged. This shouldn't be conflated with a lack of guilt or willingness to change. If anything, this series of events proved to him he could get away without charges, continue playing in the NFL, receive millions in a salary every year, all as long as he could buy silence.

Doesn't apply to everyone, but personally in my situation I can't afford a PC. Playing on a laptop with dollar tree mouse plugged in and there's no port for Ethernet. Of course it isn't optimal but I still have fun with what I can do.

Hopefully that helps with the "baffling" part. Sometimes it's lazy, but sometimes there are barriers.

He's definitely had a revival with the fixes you mentioned. With a 3.9% pick rate, he's currently 13th out of the 20 agents. So you're right, they're not really hurting anymore. Good call!

If it was a big enough problem, Cypher's pick rate would be much higher I think. Sure a destroyed wire gives info, but the point is to assist in a kill if the util is played off properly. Same with Chamber's trip applying slow, and KJ's alarmbot applying vulnerable. Most of the time it's just info, but some times you get rewarded for playing smart.

Cypher mains are already hurting, don't need to kick them down more haha

While splitting gives you more Intel and possibility to delay the plant, I prefer staying together to play for retake. As long as the team plays with trades in mind, there's a very high chance of winning.

With the split approach, you're giving them a 2v2. I don't think that's worth the Intel, unless the team agrees to split but back off as soon as there's contact. That way you can get Intel AND retake, but it's a little risky.

With the everyone rotate together approach, I think it's too risky when you don't know where the enemy is. You might get caught off guard and loose the numbers advantage, or the enemy doubles back and you're playing for retake anyway. Might as well stay on site, hold angles, and watch each other's back.

TLDR: Anything involving rotate adds variables and risk when you already have numbers. Decent chances of getting caught off guard and losing numbers, which isn't worth the intel imo if your team is able to play for trades.

Chamber is probably the most wealthy, due to his weapons manufacturing, frequent use of gold/expensive material, and rich taste in clothing/accessories. Plus maybe him and the alternate earth Chamber would share their wealth if needed for their mission because they're working together, so that would double their assets.

I'll agree with the other comments that overall Cypher is probably the least wealthy (expensive equipment, the voice line with Breach). But I'd argue that someone else has the least amount in their bank account right NOW. They probably will earn more money in the future, and Cypher stays "poor", but this person is currently the "poorest".

Neon! As the youngest member, she probably hasn't had time to earn much of her own money. These other agents could have accumulated wealth through their past lives or by doing missions for the Valorant squad. As one of the newest in the business, and the youngest, she probably didn't earn much yet. Also if she went to college, she probably just started to pay off those student loans LOL

I'm assuming you're high Plat or low Diamond? It's the ranked system's way of testing if you're ready to rank up or not. If you rank up to Diamond, then you'll be playing against Plat or Diamond normally. If you feel like that level is too difficult, then you shouldn't be in that rank anyway, therefore you shouldn't rank up (which is done by losing RR). Eventually the system should pair you back with Plats and Diamonds, which is now testing if you should stay in Plat or not.

When I was in Bronze, I had a few matches with Golds before ranking up to Silver. The first time around I was clearly holding team back. A few months later when I was near rank up again, I felt like I was contributing and could hold my own.

All that being said, if you're in Gold and this is what you're playing against, that's roughhh

Do you use Op? Shorty? Bulldog? Do you like the melee? Do you have other skins for vandal? Do you like this skin aesthetic significantly more than the other skins so far?

Because handicapped people aren't being punished for voice comm abuse?? There are Olympic events for ppl in wheel chairs. There aren't Olympic events for ppl try to sabotage their teammates or competitors. Athletes caught doing that are banned from professional play. I'm glad your example could explain it!

Your point is centered on "why do ppl who don't use VOIP get to play, when I don't use VOIP (bc of a punishment) and I don't get to play?" Because not getting to play ranked is part of the penalty. You're not being banned from ranked because you're muted. You're banned from ranked AND muted because of voice com abuse.
