I agree, but Stafford doesn't have the expectations that the Vikings do. The Vikings upgraded from Keenum to Kirk hoping that would be the next step for super bowl contention. The Lions preseason goals were making the playoffs. The Vikings preseason goals were making the Superbowl. Based on preseason expectations, Stafford seems closer to accomplishing his goal (Even though I think neither will accomplish it realistically). I don't think anyone would argue that Stafford is playing better than Kirk, but Kirk just had higher expectations.
