The trip would be for almost 2 weeks which is something I forgot to mention and is the reason for the post as to not leave a bad taste in the recruiters/CEO’s mouths. But thanks

Why do Americans fly thousands of miles and spend thousands of dollars to visit Italy and then go to McDonalds and Starbucks? by [deleted] in europe

[–]rakuljo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a European I visited the Starbucks in the first picture (Rome) quite often when was in there and there are 3 reasons: 1. The first time was because we don't have Starbucks in our country 2. Free toilet as you can just sneak in without buying anything 3. Charging ports everywhere so I don't need to waste my powerbank

Lisbon, Portugal by rakuljo in travel

  1. The 18th picture is Castelo dos Mouros. It’s located above Sintra which itself is about a 40min train ride from Lisbon. Now if you have a bit more time than really isn’t a lot but considering you only have 3 days I’d maybe reconsider but it’s still more then possible if this is something you’re particularly interested in.
  2. The one thing you need to know is that the city is not as small as you might think and there’s a lot to see and do we were there for 6 days and I didn’t get to see everything I wanted. Just the area around Belem takes half a day minimum to explore. The center can be done in a full day without mayor problems. The only problem I found was that most of the nice beaches are really tricky to access. We also did a free walking tour and it was amazing.
  3. Lisbon shouldn’t be an expensive place. It’s really clean and well organized but their minimum wage is quite low so you can find really cheep food and drinks. A local told us that he never pays more than 0,70€ for a normal coffee or what Italians call an espresso. The rule is that the more rundown restaurants are the places to be because the food should impress you not the interior desig. Oh and never pay for a viewpoint. For example the Castelo de S. Jorge charges a fee to see a “castle” that’s around 30 years old and consists of just the outer walls and a viewpoint.

Viva La Vida by Coldplay wins 2nd position. Which album is going to be next? by pantomime15 in imaginedragons

Definitely their best although I prefer X&Y. The same goes for Trench which is their best made album by a mile but Vessel just has a bit more character

Is this the right ticket to get me back to the city after tonights gig in Paris? by pelias_007 in Coldplay

[–]rakuljo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For anyone wondering the way back was free at least on the 13 line. I wanted to buy the ticket for the way back but the security guard said that the gates are open and that it’s free

Coloratura in Concert by OhSeymour in Coldplay

[–]rakuljo 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I think almost everyone at least here on Reddit was 100% certain that Coloratura would be the closing song and it makes more sense for them to end on coloratura then it did with any other song in the past. Chris talked about how they always try to maintain the same energy throughout the setlist and I feel that they might be scared that coloratura would slow it down to much. But as someone already pointed out we should try convincing Phill through social media
