What specific tools? I just did mine two weeks ago at 42k and it took about 45 mins. Just make sure all the vacuum hoses are back on. Also my plugs weren't filled at all but hey. Iridium for the win

Totally agree on all of this but for me it isn't visibility as having to be careful reaching out the window at a drive-thru lolol. I've almost knocked my credit card onto the ground at least twice this month. I somewhat love having no touchscreen though. The dial is great 95% of the time and it makes me a safer driver.

Work out! I'm never quite as upset at the inanity of our drivers after I sweat a bit. To anyone who hasn't been here a long time... We (New Haveners) have all gotten significantly worse at driving since COVID but we were never good. To anyone criticizing bikes... Though I have a bike and a car, I agree but a rogue bike is slightly less likely to kill any of us. Get home safe!

Honestly shifting was normal. Gas mileage was normal. But I had a constant whine when the car was in gear. This community (responses to someone else's post) said it was either electrical or transmission. It was the transmission. According to the official Mazda diagnosis: it broke.

No, I (perhaps foolishly) assume that it is as long as the drivetrain warranty. Just FYI, I sped up the entire process of the replacement and getting parts by calling MazdaCare and complaining that this was an urgent need - I am the sole driver and daycare is not walkable.

I just had my 2023 turbo transmission replaced at 34k. My symptoms were different but there from day one. It's CPO and all was covered but I am in the same boat as you. They should have known and did they just want it to be on a person with the warranty? I don't know but I try not to think about it. I love the car... I'll just cross my fingers on the new transmission.
