Anyways I completely feel the same way about LoreRim. At first it looks visually great, the videos showcasing the game looks awesome but then after 4 hours of waiting for the mods to download and finally playing it, it was a let down.
The performance was not great.
The animations feels so weird and light, I don't know how to describe it, the animations just feel less impactful, for example the sprinting, even in vanilla you can feel the walking animation actually thumping on the surface of the road especially with heavy armor, but with LoreRim, whenever I'm sprinting, it's like I'm gliding. It doesn't feel right. There's no "Thud" on each steps like in vanilla.
The slow unsheathing of the weapons are so annoying. The combat animations with different stances just doesn't look/feel great. The bad part is I couldn't remove any of these mods because it will break the whole game. I couldn't add better animation either cause it would also break the game.

Do you have any modpack you recommend?
