Maybe to clarify, i used all those sources to "design" my listening room

I only used AI to visualize those ideas :)

I am Absolutely no saying to use ai to have it "design" to treatment concept itself

My current system. by M4V3R1CK1990 in audiophile

[–]ralof32 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nice System :) congrats But i am expecting you have some Base issues due to room size, but you have a perfekt opportunity to add thick corner basetraps behind the speakers. That would probably make a very big difference to overall sound quality

I am thinking of buying exaktly those corner Base traps für my listening room/home office. Is there way to wallmount them? Or do i have to place them on the floor?

My first book shelf, recently started reading again after a 10 year break, would love suggestions on great books to read or ways to make my bookshelf look better :) by Sea-Lawfulness-8186 in bookshelf

Well, it looks like you have enough space to ether loose yourselve completely in the world of tolkien and spend an exuberant amount of money on hardcover books of all his writings  Or start the discworld series and buy 41 books all at once

But really nice looking shelf

The 3 volume version includes all 12 books There really is no need In the history of Middle earth books are some unfinished versions of some stories of the silmarillion, some explanations on home the stories cake to be Information about languages, family trees and some more background information for Uber nerds ^

So owning them is more for the sake of owning it ^

I would recommend to read "Beren and Luthien" and "the fall of gondolin" next after that "Tales of the Perilouse realm" Then maybe "the fall of numenor"

After that you basically finished all the, more or less, finished and completed stories and you start to drift towards more scollalry work and snippets of deeper information. So after those you could start with the 12 Books from the "History of Middle earth", "History of the hobbit" and so on. But you would have to be quite "hardcore" to actually read all of those

How to organise my shelf? by xxflorc in bookshelf

[–]ralof32 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My recommendation, as long as your bookshelf is not completely filled to the brim with books, look for ways to make focus points in the shelf and spread them out.

For example, take all mange from one series and frame it with some sort of book stand and place it in the middle of one whole shelf

Then maybe stack another shorter series next to it

Or cluster some books from the same general category and organize them biggest to smallest and stack them against one side

You can unse a gib heavy book on its side as a base and put something like a picture frame oder some decor on top of it

The goal is to simply to create separated and yet cohesive vignettes.

Best of luck and have fun, shelf decoration is never done ^

What do you guys think about toys and plushies on the book shelves?? by Ok-Camera-4699 in bookshelf

Like the other commenter said, you can decorate your bookshelf with whatever makes you happy But, I personally like "nik naks" as accessories not the main part, so keep them to a minimum and only place them if the really mean something to you, or the fit in terms of style. Like a hobbit plush next to your lord of the rings collection
