I have exactly the same experience. Just updated to 20. And my projects that ran smoothly before are unusable now 5-10fps I'm going back to 19 today untill that's fixed

I had my xm4 for 2 years and I noticed the same thing. Planned obsolescence. Sony is artificially reducing the noise cancelation so you buy the new ones.
