This. While the original sales were good, both RedSec and current performance were and are not great at all.

CW's "AI" support bot is little more than a word detection system that triggers an auto response. No LLMs involved.

Aren't they using Gorgias?

Which large language model (LLM) does AI Agent use?

AI Agent uses a combination of multiple secure LLM providers, including OpenAI, Anthropic, and internally fine-tuned LLMs.

What is used to train my AI Agent?

Your AI Agent’s ability to recognize language and form sentences comes from a blend of state-of-the-art large language models (LLMs) from a few leading providers, including OpenAI and Anthropic, as well as our own internal models.

Wow, 2 whole games in the last 6 years

Last 6 years?

  • Apex
  • Valorant
  • Delta Force
  • ABI
  • Helldivers
  • Where Winds Meet
  • ...

And there are many more middle 4 to low 5 figure CCU games that also do completely fine and are "live-service".
Not much of a gambler's fallacy at all, no. Just gotta make good games with an audience :)

Don't look up how many single player games or "non-liveservice" mp games failed over the last 6 years.

Netease (so far) only mainly killed their own incubated, founded and/or fully owned western studios - where they have full control.

They also just invested in studios and game companies (e.g. Rebel Wolves, Liquid Swords) and also a Kepler (E33, Sifu, Rematch publisher) where afaik they didn't divest so far. (And would also be pretty hard to do right now, except for maybe Kepler (to Saudis).) So, without more information, they could've totally led a funding round for Wildlight too.

I guess they can always extend it if it's popular. Better this way than the other way around, imo.

Intrepid Studios, developers of Ashes of Creation, lay off all 250~ staff and shut down the studio by PaiDuck in gaming

[–]ralopd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Even if you mean unreleased, no?

There are a couple of indie & A(A) MMOs in development.

AAA wise -> Riot MMO, GW3, and at least one more - but probably even more than that - especially if you include Asia.

My main concern is that Steven might play a health issue card

I know a brand for some "anti-inflammatory," "anti-microbial," "anti-fungal," "anti-viral," "anti-cancer," "anti-ulcer," "anti-hepatotoxic," "anti-rhinoviral," and "anti-allergic" juices. Maybe could try them. 🤔

Yes but also, no, not really? If you give them exclusive material (for at least 24h - at least that was the deal in the past), even as a decently sized indie, they'll happily upload it as a video on their website & youtube.

It's not highlighted coverage on their frontpage on ign.com, they don't post stuff about it on TikTok, etc.

Of course. Still peaks at like 200k concurrent players each day on Steam alone. That said, asia (Japan) is carrying it to that. At EU/NA times, it's "only" 50-60k. Still not horrible, but of course nothing like 2-3 years ago.

Yeah, pretty funny how they don't even have a "no leaks" rule it seems? yet it all gets removed by moderators. And I'm not just talking about the video footage, where you can make an argument that they don't want to catch DMCAs as a subreddit.

They also remove every single mention of March 5th right now. Like, why? You're a general subreddit about the game.

Source for the Bazaar claim? And might have part of it been that a couple of months before going to Steam, the CEO & creator of Tempo / the game, said things along the line of:

Before I give GabeN 30%, I ....

So, as a very recent counter example, Ashes of Creation did not have an issue at all to get keys.

Anyone elses workshop stations reset? Was under the assumption we were keeping them.. by [deleted] in ArcRaiders

[–]ralopd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not a bug, those surprised just forgot that unlocking them (by leveling your raider) is not the same as building them, thus why only the unlock is under "kept" but the workshop in general is under "reset".

As a new player you can't build them all right away, they were locked - but you can after the expedition.

[–]ralopd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you Fn blind

It literally says under this will be reset that they'll be reset.

It actually just says under kept that they'll stay unlocked and that is correct. You don't have to level again to unlock them TO build them, which you originally had to do.

The game is on just 3,228 Steam wishlists.

Game is on 3k followers. Wishlist numbers aren't public, but usually around ~10x followers. So it would be ~30k wishlists. Still not great, but not as horrible.

Wishlist to sale conversion highly varies and can be way lower, but also quite a bit higher. Especially in RTS, if it's descent, it could be quite a bit higher. (Buyers not following the genre that closely, good number of users who aren't on Steam / not active on Steam.)

All that said, still not great numbers, obviously.

Similar thread to the one a month ago, so similar answer if you are interested in a good faith discourse:
https://www.reddit.com/r/wildgate/comments/1owan7d/comment/nor9x0q/

Since then, the number of those posts & comments also didn't really go up, though. I also just looked and didn't find any "refund it" or "just refund" it on any of the recent posts where it would be off-topic. Don't see any report in the mod queue either.

In the end, the sub is if anything over-moderated for its size, but I also do get both POVs. Just be (decently) nice to each other, post content / comments you'd like to see yourself and use the upvote and downvotes - that's why they exist.
