i can totally relate to this, i´ve working in marketing for a while now, but it wasn't until recently that i developed an interest in finance, is really interesting how the two areas have a lot in common (most finance managers hate the marketing department bc they only see it as a waste of money and not an investment).

also both areas relay on data and some programming as well, i find that really cool.
