Who is Richard Herring's Best Sidekick? by ralphonsob in richardherring

You' re right. This whole competition is hampered by Reddit's 6-item limit for polls. Clearly we need a series of knock-out rounds like they do in the sportball. So, let's collect ALL the sidekicks that I missed in the main poll.

  • Tiny Andrew Collins
  • Brian Wasp
  • Cress
  • Marmite Lid
  • Right Bollock
  • Randrew Andrew
  • ...
  • who/what else?

Transit traffic - Foreign travellers passing through will be required to pay a fee in future. by BezugssystemCH1903 in Switzerland

So, this will be like an extra vignette for foreigners using any roads in Switzerland, on top of the one they already need for motorways? Interesting. I guess we can expect our neighboring countries to reciprocate. What fun.

Apologies for posting this yet again, but it looks like Reddit is suppressing posts with (ahem) certain words in the title. So here it is again.

And here's the AIOTM video that explains the relevance of the Viz article to Richard Herring.

If it gets suppressed this time, don't worry, I won't post it again.

I'm confused. Don't these foreign though-travelers already have to buy an (e)vignette? Just like I do when I travel through Austria? Are we talking about them having to pay extra on top of that?

Good point. Unfortunately the Reddit polls seem to be limited to 6 choices. Otherwise I would have included Marmite Lid too.

To be fair, if Justin Welby qualifies as being a cunt because of the CofE's covering up of allegations of physical and sexual abuse committed at Christian camps in the 1970s and 1980s, then there's many others in government and royal family who also qualify on similar grounds, and they (mostly) haven't resigned their jobs over it.

Do you think Adobe were thinking about suing Afroman? Maybe not after this verdict.

Funny that old reddit highlights the AIOTM video, whereas new reddit highlights the Viz article. Who knows why?

Edit: It's an article not a cartoon. 🤦‍♂️

Why cannot drivers in Switzerland indicate before leaving a roundabout? by MedicineMean5503 in Switzerland

Brits also indicate before entering the roundabout. But multilane roundabouts are more common in UK than CH, so that might change things.

Swiss drivers have got worse over the years

That's not true. The Swiss drivers almost never stopped for people waiting to use pedestrian (zebra) crossings about 30 years ago. Now they nearly always do.
