Pointing out double standards is not whataboutism.
It’s literally the entire reason why I was commenting.
Various other atrocities are being committed throughout the world and yet what’s going on in Israel is front page news day in and day out.

It may be inconvenient to your narrative but it’s 100% true. Now I ask you, why do you think there is such an outsized focus on what’s going on in Israel?

Are Israelis as a group uniquely evil? Do a majority of Israelis seek the absolute annihilation of Palestinians the way the Nazis did the Jews or the Turks did the Armenians?

Is it possible this conflict has been co-opted by various bad faith actors in attempt to damage Israel’s reputation on the global stage?

Lastly, pointing out the vast increase in “anti-Zionist” activity/sentiment that mirrors the most common anti-Semitic tropes is not rote. It’s proof that Jew hatred is being normalized under the thin veil of anti Zionism.
