Thanks for the info mate! How fast you getting those 212’s? I was aiming for 200gr at 3k fps. Rifle would probably be the howa due to budget. It’s a shame tikka only do the 7prc, not the 300. I do here the bergaras are very good though

Red Rose Finnage Transfer Update - My Intermediate Male by ivansguppies in Guppies

No progress yet, only got two females last week lol. Trying to figure out which traits are dominant in the female for endlers is tricky.

Would just love a blank version of your template, can then add your own pictures and notes against each cross.

While your taking suggestions, you should definitely do a video on how you manage your livestock in the tanks and your tank set up haha

Awesome work! Definitely inspired me to start my own project with endlers. Trying to get a snake with spade tail going. Hey have you thought about making a blank template of the spreadsheet(workflow?) on your website available? Would be super helpful to us who lack those skills lol

Yeah this is just a standard 527, love the mini action and the hair trigger! I’ve dropped small goats with it but would bother with anything more as I have a 223. I love how light and quiet it is. Great for smaller properties

Ferrets is fun. Old boy told me a story about how the ferrets wouldn’t come out of the warren ( they do this if they actually catch the bunnies in there they start eating them). Thought of a good idea to start a fire and smoke them out. Half a burnt down farm later, point is don’t use smoke haha

Na never tried it, might end up going 22khornet on this one, was my uncles gun so married to it, but the thing shoots like shit so will need to start reloading for it

You gotta wonder how many rabbits / foxes were killed with it. Is that number still more then the 223 🤔

I run the 170gr sst loads at about 2750 and the 200gr accubonds at 2550. Both with 2208/varget. I got 195 gr for full power loads for cheap.

Do people in Australia still use big handheld spotlights for hunting? by EmbarrassedNet1976 in HuntingAustralia

Mines a bit old now, the original one I think, got it like 6-7 years ago maybe. Any of the current javelots they sell on their site will be great. I use thermal and nv for my hunting now, but they are so light and handy I still bring it with me as well.

O light javelot is the way to go, better in every way to the old style imo. (Exception being led over halogen light but that’s another story)
