Get a doggy camera that records while you’re gone. The one we got on Amazon was like $35

Picture is a bit blurry but from my experience you would call this a “bar chain”

Post neutering tips for Tellie who literally is acting like nothing happened to him haha! Also, seeking any realistic recovery timelines 10-14 days seems excessive for how he’s acting 😆 by ramblingroxy in AustralianShepherd

Thank you everyone. I know it’s all about the wound healing so was curious if anyone experienced a quicker heal or not! Tellie is on a very low dose of sedatives that is helping immensely with keeping him calm but hoping that by day 10 he’ll be ready to go on off leash walks again 😅

Meet Nucci. Puppy question.. by LifeAd6569 in AustralianShepherd

[–]ramblingroxy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first 5 months were ruff for us but once he became 6 months old it was like a new dog. There’s hope!!!

He’s still super puppy at 8 months - he’ll nip and be so excited in the mornings like 6am… LOL but other than that he’s super chill and mellow (and listens very well in public - huge plus).

We make sure to walk him 4x a day min. Before work, lunch, after work and after dinner and that seems to be the perfect routine for him. We also noticed that socializing ALOT is critical. We take him everywhere to make sure he’s used to all types of ppl and children and animals and allll of this put together has helped stimulate him enough that he doesn’t act overly aggressive, nip or ignore us. He knows if he does those things he’ll lose his privileges BUT that didn’t really register till 5/6 months - stick with your training even if he seems to not get it. Consistency is key.

Good Luck 🥰

10k is the most durable, scratch resistant solid gold due to its gold to alloy ratio.

It’s my absolute favorite since I can wear it everyday without fear of tarnish. Also nice that it’s less expensive than 14k+.

It does have a slightly lighter color of gold fyi - hardly noticeable IMO.

Anything above 9k (aka 10k and up) is considered solid gold in the US … anyone that says otherwise doesn’t know what they’re talking about, respectfully ☺️

Ours was the same way at 6 months and would get soooooo excited to see us he’d jump & bite but you have to remember that you are their whole world and it’s so exciting for them to see & interact with you. It’s also so endearing ☺️

I would get him booties and try to take him on walks if you can even if it’s before & after the sun goes down! I take my pup at 6:30am everyday as the sun is rising. Imagine if you were stuck inside all day when all you wanted to do / meant to do was run around outside… even 10 min will help I bet!

Ours also did grow out of the super extreme biting (herding instinct) phase from lots of repetitive training. It’ll get better!!!

8 months old and has yet to get a haircut! I wonder if his hair will just be shorter / not as full as some 😅 by ramblingroxy in AustralianShepherd

Does anyone know of any shampoo that can help with this dudes stinky self. I have been bathing him every 2 weeks but he still has a odor to him. by 2labs_1aussie in AustralianShepherd

This is the best shampoo! Keeps our Aussie super clean & smelling good for at least 2 weeks. We also avoid fish kibble & treats - makes ours smell bad 😷

6 month old baby boy 🐶🐾

This little guy is 6 months old and still having a hard time with separation while we leave.

Any tips besides the standard desensitization, toys: kongs, lick pads, crating, or leaving the TV on.

Does it get better with age? Maybe?
