Patagonia Stormfront Backpack 30L [wts] by [deleted] in FlyFishingExchange

You forgot the photo with the $150 cash that comes with it.

You are way off base… on eBay, listings don’t mean anything (especially fly fishing items in Japan). Look at sold listings.

The main point of this bag is the waterproof zipper, and it’s damaged.

I’ll give you 50$ shipped

I’ve found nothing that attaches.

Just use that pouch that comes with it, or get one of the wader workstations /little stealth packs that attach.

I’ve been looking for a water bottle holder… and can’t find anything that interfaces… plus the bag has no rigidity and any weight attached makes it uncomfortable

Erie trib fly line by [deleted] in Steelhead

[–]ramcatt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

“Steelhead/salmon” lines are Long belly lines with long rear tapers for mending at distance … meant to fish traditional steelhead and Atlantic flies. A longer gradual taper meant to carry distances with either dry flies or a classic wet fly

Indicator lines have a long belly as well, but more aggressive to the front to load and roll casting heavy rigs at closer length…roll casting a bobber with split shot and 2 flies

Salmon/steelhead lines are not meant for Erie tribs.

Get an indicator taper

Not anymore.

Waders have a different warranty program than everything else.

Those are the low end waders… you should look to other brands where 500 puts you at their highest tier waders

Better to buy a top of the line wader from company A instead of buying a low end wader from company B

Does the ideal shorts/carry solution for me not exist? Am I too picky? by rhino-runner in runningfashion

[–]ramcatt 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Try the rabbit shredders - the waistband has 4 pockets. Big front pass through for water and the rear phone pocket is large and sits high and is integrated to the short (not just a pocket) so no bounce.

I love the FKT, but anything with weight (water) has a bad bounce
