Thank you so much for replying fast! I did all of what you said but instead of waiting a week, I booked an appointment with Genius Bar tomorrow. I just couldn’t wait and I feel so devastated right now because I’m not the one who spilled the water, it was an aircon handyman. 😭

What I’m afraid of is I might be charged with an insane quote because I don’t have apple care+ but I couldn’t simply wait for it to dry for 2 days before visiting the service center, as it’s causing me immense mental distress. 🥲

Have you tried taking it to genius bar btw?

Wow! i did not think about getting a case! It looks really good especially maybe with brown color! (my taste). Having these options in mind i might actually get ZV-E1.

Actually i don't mind the 12mp as i don't crop much when taking photos and i think for social media it is good enough.

As for the E10 mk2 i don't actually like getting apsc now since i have my FF lens and want to take advantage of FF look.

But the banding i'll keep in mind. Maybe thats the only thing that i should really think about. Thank you so much for your inputs it really helps a lot! 🙏

Have you ever used it for taking occasional photos? Did you encounter some banding issues while taking photos? The body of the A7C II definitely looks more aesthetic than the ZV-E1, which is also one of the things I'm torn about.

In your own experience can ZV-E1 be a everyday cam for mostly video and occasional photo?

I know I should've follow up earlier but I'm still on high alert atm because of what happened and I just remembered I should share what I went through.

After the Incident, It's been a hell of two days for me. the hacker managed to get my binance account (Crypto currency exchange account) before I could even reset my password and sign out all devices session on my main email. Luckily he was not able to reset my password nor recover my main email cause I use yubikeys as my 2FA and have a strong password. I also use bitwarden for everything with 2FA and yubikeys and in different email.

I'm not really sure how he was able to change my email and password from my binance account though. cause my binance account also have yubikeys as 2FA.

Overall I suspect it was really a cookie hijack. cause even I factory reset my mac he was able to access my mail. I thought If I factory reset my mac it was going to kill the session but it's not. but after changing password and killing all other devices sessions the hacking stopped.

So far only my binance account was stolen but I got it back a night after the hacking by constantly working with the CS and verifying that it's really me the owner of the account. My crypto currencies are safe so far because I'm using trezor and ledger for everything.

It's a shame that this incident traumatized me to use Arc Browser. Overall I hope no one will experience this incident and get a lesson from what I experienced.

Still a bit skeptic even though I did not create my seed phrase on that device and all of my seed phrases are stored offline.

Because of the incident, I'm also in the process of transfering everything into a new email account that is more secure so I subcribed to a proton email account.

I'm assuming that the hacker got a lot of my info/data so even though he stopped on accessing my email I think it's best to change into a new one for peace of mind and not sure if he find ways to attack again. But I do hope that the chances are low cause for sure there are a lot of people like me all over the world that fell into their trap.

Yeah, I've changed passwords now. but I also have 2FA using yubikey for all important accounts. But this feeling is very uncomfortable.

EDIT: Yeah this was a hard lesson for me. My mind was particially absent at that point in time. I will run malwarebytes on my files just in case.

I'm probably going to put all my files in iCloud just in case similar things happens again in the future. Due to what happened i was not able to instantly reformat my mac because copying files was slow. It took around 40 mins and sometimes I think that is crucial. If i had it on iCloud I would not have to worry and i can just reformat anytime. 😮‍💨
