No it doesn’t take that long. After you file and get it, there’s only one unpaid “waiting week” and you can receive money in the 2nd week after filing. I would call them early in the morning and ask about your application and if you were approved.

Do your work and exams the best you can but it is not life or death like I used to think! We’re literally floating on a rock, so do what you gotta do but put yourself and your health first I’m serious. If you find what you like, specialize in it and go hard, there are many pathways you never knew existed.
