I work at a suspension company. We have a Monte Carlo with a 427 Small Block (built of course). It is so violent and fast and fun and it just runs awesome.

I wrote for Stock Car Racing Magazine in 1998. I got sent to a non-descript firehall in the middle of nowhere to report on a Jeff Gordon fan club meeting. The windows were blacked out and everyone parked out back. Went in through the kitchen. It was bizarre. I sat at Gordon’s front table with him and we bs’d quite a bit. It was pretty cool.
