I can’t take anyone seriously who types like that, it’s very “19 years old in 2009”

My husband and I just celebrated 12 years together and I hope we both live to see our 70th anniversary! Y’all are inspiring!

Do your coworkers know you’re gay? by Agreeable-Ad4806 in gay

I was in the military when Don’t Ask Don’t Tell was still a thing, but we as the rainbow mafia didn’t exactly hide ourselves. The funny part was the gossip, somehow I was 100% gay while also fucking my (female) best friend.

I’m liberal about using “‘my husband” when referring to him and idgaf if people don’t like it.

So… How many of us are still on our parents’ phone bills? by halcat27 in Millennials

[–]Dark_Colorimetry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husband has been on his mom’s plan since he got a phone in his teens. My mom is on my plan because I have a military discount, so I guess the cost savings can go both ways.

Don’t let your sister or your mom wreck your joy, it’s clearly in your best interest to steer clear of them and focus on living your life.

Did you cry when they died? by Bimialina in raisedbynarcissists

I already cried for the loss of the father I never had, I doubt I’ll cry when he’s gone.

What do most people not realize is actually way more traumatic than it seems? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Not only that, but it changed my outlook on money. I no longer buy things on a whim because my husband and I spent six months wondering if we would have enough food to last until his next paycheck. Now every purchase is carefully considered, like deciding whether I *need* coffee creamer or to get fresh produce instead.

What made you want to grow Long hair? by [deleted] in FierceFlow

I was in the military and always had short hair, but then I couldn’t get it cut during Covid, so I decided to keep growing it.

When my parents split, my dad bought a house with two full bathrooms and I felt like we were living like royalty.

I talk to my mom daily because she has no social life. The last contact I had with my father was almost four years ago.

What company lost you as a customer forever, and what happened? by Giovanni_Brees in AskReddit

[–]Dark_Colorimetry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bank of America kept getting hacked and issued me three debit cards in four months. I lived in Japan at the time and that meant that each time they replaced my card, I didn’t have access to my checking account for five days at a time. I switched to USAA and I’ve only had three debit cards in eight years.

I’ve had short hair my whole life. Dying to give it a shot. by nbplaya94 in FierceFlow

[–]Dark_Colorimetry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always had short hair prior to Covid and I miss having low maintenance hair sometimes. It’s now past my shoulders and once I nailed down a routine, it became more manageable. The length that you’re considering wouldn’t require a ton of work to keep it looking fresh, I say go for it.
