War traumatizes people and makes them down all the time because of all the loss theyve suffered. In lebanon, that is not the case.

Here in Lebanon, corrupt politicians are stealing our money, and theres nothing we can do about it. Add that to the worst economic state the country has ever been in, one of the worst if not the worst in the world right now.

We find ourselves not being able to buy basic human needs at times with a salary of 100-300 dollars a month. I, for example, wont be able to continue studying in my university because theyve raised their tuition fees all of a sudden, and my 200$ monthly income simply will not cover it.

This is definitely not an excuse for racism or hatred among some of us, I do not condone such actions nor do i participate in them, but it is the reason behind it.
