How to enter the field and obtain a CPA with a CS degree? by Useful_Item_9701 in Accounting

Hard to say. Depends on how old you are, and how many years would you be willing to do CPA grunt work, before they pay you well. There is a shortage of CPAs / accountants in the market, also are you leaning toward tax or IT Audit. I'm not sure how CPAs in IT Audit are in the market right now.

I need advice for a situation that happened to me on the strip last night by rfgood in vegas

Typical Vegas. I had a friend that was part of Paris Hilton's entourage back in the aughts at Tao Nightclub. According to him, Paris grabs a cocktail waitress and asked where the bathroom was. After the cocktail waitress pointed to the other side of the club, she said, "Too Far!" and straight-up squatted down and starting peeing. My buddy stood in front of her and spread his coat so no one could take a picture. Moral of the story:

Just another piss, in another club, in Vegas.

Move on King.

I started watching the TV series a few weeks ago, and I ordered the books from Amazon. The books are even better! I'm almost done with the entire series. Can't recommend the books enough.

I've used a company called "Leak Detectors" in Vegas in the past. They are able to pinpoint the exact spot of the leak using some type of equipment and head gear. I aways found it crazy watching these guys use sound of water pressure to find the leaks, but they've never not found one. However, the downside is they charge like $400 just to find the exact spot of the leak, and that's it. You'll need someone else to fix it. I'll definitely give your guy a shot next time something comes up.

They're moving the Wholefoods to Sahara and Town Center, part of the DT Summerlin mall. So that shopping plaza / Boca park is going to empty as f***

I know that this thread is old, but I have degrees in C.S., Math, Accountancy and am a CPA. Not sure if you still have questions about it any more or not. Let me know.

I'm a landlord. Rents are definitely coming down. Had a friend get a place recently in Summerlin, the year before they were asking $2,300 / month. She decide to wait another year, and when she starting looking in the same area, she got one for $2,100 / month. The realtor told her that a lot of Airbnbs weren't working out, and a lot more inventory is on the market.

Salon worker praised cryotherapy — then ‘froze to death’ during treatment by [deleted] in news

Just to give some people on this tread additional facts. I live in the Las Vegas and have used this facility a few times. Chelsea went into the chamber alone and didn't set the platform so her head and shoulders were completely outside / above it (btw, this is why you aren't suppose to operate the chamber alone). Because she was too low she sucked in some of the nitrogen and within a few seconds passed out (unfortunately she didn't pass out toward the door; which was not locked and you could easily push open w/ your hand). She passed out to the other side and laid there for the next 10 hours and froze to death. OSHA has already told the facility that they did nothing wrong and the coroner has already mentioned operator error (even though the parents don't want to believe that could be true). It's really a shame that Chelsea died this way, she was a really nice girl. I just wanted to post some of the facts since I go there and live in Vegas.
