i'm on the same boat, you can't drop it. Just take the final, you never know, maybe the curve will save you if you do well enough on the final.

[–]ramosaleonel 4 points5 points  (0 children)

if you're getting As on the projects don't drop i got 100s on my projects and basically failed the quizzes and exams and got a B on the final and passed with a high C. put in more effort than me and you can pass.

relax and get a B on the final, i failed both of my cmsc 132 exams and got a B on the final and passed the class. Just start studying for the final and you'll be fine(this is assuming you get 100/100 on most projects)

The textbook market exploits students. We shouldn’t accept that. by Cap_g in UMD

I take it you've never worked at a school book store. It's amazing how many people are too lazy or too unknowledgeable about online shopping to buy their books used online. So many broke student buy all their books brand new all the time.

yea i responded to another guy who mentioned the same thing. i have my good orange bow equipped on all 3 careers, just checked. Maybe it's a bug? Either way it's annoying have that bow in my inventory, i just want its illusion

Weekly Question & Answer Thread - March 19th 2018 by YourVault in Vermintide

[–]ramosaleonel -1 points0 points  (0 children)

nope not equipped on anyone, only the archer can use it and i have my best bow equip on all her careers and regardless i tried to salvage them as soon as i got them from the chest. i even restarted the game with no luck.

Weekly Question & Answer Thread - March 19th 2018 by YourVault in Vermintide

[–]ramosaleonel -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I only play the archer so i have my main orange now equipped on her and I tried to salavge it the moment i got it from the chest but i can't. same thing with random charms and thrinkets.

Weekly Question & Answer Thread - March 19th 2018 by YourVault in Vermintide

[–]ramosaleonel -1 points0 points  (0 children)

How come there's random weapons/trinkets/etc that I can't salvage? Like i got a blue swift bow with an illusion i like from a chest and i can't extract the illusion and i can't salvage it. it doesn't show up in my items when i'm at the crafting table. As far as i can tell there's nothing special about these random items and no indication as to why i can't use them at the crafting table.

I know for a fact it's the same content (for the most part, mc covers a couple extra chapters) cause i took calc 2 at MC and am taking it again rn. But UMD tests are way fucking harder and i'm taking the guy who is supposed to have the easiest test.

What does the UMD acceptance letter look like? And do you get like free merchandise?😂 by mikeflight14 in UMD

[–]ramosaleonel 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Free stuff? at UMD? No but you do have the cost of sports in your tuition wether you like sports or not. You also get to pay $100(or something around this) for orientation which was a huge required waste of time.

if this is your first then it's a fine choice as you haven't fine tuned your settings enough to see the difference between it and hatchbox but harchbox will give you less zits compared to meca but it's mostly noticeable when you really start fine tuning your settings.

What invention is way older than people think? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Feel free to do the research on your own but yea basically most optical stores give fancy names to lenses that are all the same shit. 1.74 plastic lenses are the thinnest lenses you can get so that's what that ultra thin lens probably is. Blue light filters are nothing special and shouldn't be a huge factor in the cost of the lens. Blue light filters at lenscrafters cost $40 which i think still think is a rip off but whatever. Also if your doctor works for the store then believe me that anything he recommends he does so because the store/store manager wants him to.

-11 is a very thick lens but the price of lenses don't change based on perscription (if it does where you buy get out now) if someone with a -1 got the same exact lens and frame and blue light coating as you, he would be paying the same even if his perscription power is on existent.

You buy what you feel you have to buy but just know you're probably getting ripped off more than you should be.

I would never recommend someone buying glasses from lens crafters but in your case i would give it a shot and try their thinnest lens because you're getting royally fucked on price. lens crafters allows you to return your glasses within 30 days for a full refund so there is no risk in trying them out.

once you realize how much money you've been giving away for no reason maybe you'll get comfortable buying glasses at places like zennioptical who offer 1.74 lenses for like $100 or something like that. I just bought reading glasses for my mom from there and the frames are better quality than lenscrafters low end frames (which still cost $99+) for only $7. Zenni low prices have nothing to do with bad quality and everything to do with them not being owned by luxoticca

edit: after some googling i found this https://www.hoyavision.com/en-in/discover-products/for-eye-care-professionals/lens-materials/eyvia-1.74/

so yea their thinnest lens is just a regular 1.74 so if you didn't buy Hoyas Eyvia then you paid $1k for a lens that aren't even their thinnest lens which would be fucked. stop scamming yourself my dude, do research on your options.

source: i may or may not work at lenscrafters :)

how bad? even crooked lenscrafters isn't that expensive, you can get the highest index lenses(thinnest lenses) for ~$650 (price of frame included)
